Land of Gypsies: Rings

I am a self-confessed ring addict! I love collecting rings and they are my favorite accessory for any occasion. Just one statement ring can take you from regular and ordinary to stylish and chic. But today I’ll be showing you three of them! *Gypsy mode on*

These are my favorite boho-inspired rings. I like wearing them with my ethnic palazzo and kurta, my tribal printed maxi, sarees, a pair of jeans and t-shirt.. the options are many.

Although they aren’t real stones, I still take good care of them by keeping them wrapped in a ball of cotton wool which is why they look as good as new even though they’re about five years old.

I remember buying the green and blue ones from Delhi in Hauz-Khaas, a place called ‘Dilli Haat’. Were they expensive? Nope! They were for about Rs.200 each (but ofcourse I bargained!) at the time when I bought them. Believe me when I say this, there were so many lovely rings they had.. I wanted to buy the entire basket! So next time you visit Delhi go take a look. Your inner shopaholic will feel rewarded here!

The one in dull gold and off-white, that’s more classy, sophisticated and can be worn to more formal occasions as well. I got this one from Lifestyle. Lifestyle is a great place to buy good accessories. Though sometimes slightly expensive, they’re still pretty reasonable compared to other stores.

This is the first time I’ve worn all three together and I think it looks pretty cool. I’m thinking of washed blue jeans, a long white/cream fringe top with a slits and a pair of flat sandals (from Ancient Greek Sandals  ❤ ) and you’re set to be an urban gypsy!

Tell me what you think about these rings. I’d love to hear!
