Hey you all! Hope your week is looking lovely. I was invited to a clothing and photo exhibit a couple of weeks ago. The exhibit was by Palam Silks, a well-known name in the business of sarees and hand-woven fabrics. I had a great time at the exhibit as I walked around taking a look at some spectacular photos shot in the Himalayas. Snow-clad mountains, waterfalls, breathtaking terrain and models posing in silk sarees!!
The sarees on display were a modern take on the regular traditional ones. They were EXTREMELY intricate and completely developed on the traditional hand-loom by craftsmen.
I choose to keep it light and casual by opting for a ribbed white tee from Zara and my ol’ blue straight leg jeans from Wrangler. Block heels are so chic and thankfully comfy enough for me to survive the day! A brown sling bag so stuff my ‘can’t-do-without s’ in. I usually like to let my hair loose but I’ve never grown my hair this long and the heat is driving me crazy! (who knows the next post may be ‘New Haircut’) A neat ponytail does the job for now.
Hit like if you enjoyed this post!
