Hey hey! So I’m back for another beauty post and this one is specifically for the Maybelline Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow palette. I’m showing two looks that can be achieved with this palette.
For this EOTD I used Maybelline’s Dream Satin Skin foundation, the Fashion Brow Pomade crayon, Maybelline’s Magnum Barbie mascara and of course the Maybelline Blushed Nudes eyeshadow palette. As you can see this is a Maybelline one brand EOTD. I really like Maybelline. I think most of the beauty products I own are from the brand primarily because they are provide fantastic quality products at affordable prices. Who can say no to that?!
First step to get an even smooth surface to work on. So I applied Maybelline Dream Satin Skin foundation on my face and eyelids. Just a small quantity does the trick for me. This foundation is really really light and looks so natural. I LOVE IT! It works well for my oily skin and even after a few hours it has a dewy look that I quite like.
Next for the brows. I have relatively full brows so all I wanted was to enhance them slightly by filling in the gaps in the front and end of the brows. The Brow Pomade crayon works really quick to do this. Its very pigmented so be careful with your strokes.
Now for The Blushed Nudes!!
I’ve created two looks here. the first is a quad. I used the first four shades on the bottom row.
1 – apply on the inner side of the eyelid
2 – apply on the mid and outer portion. Also apply on the lower lash line.
3 – apply just on the outer corner and blend into crease line
4 – apply on the outer corner and blend into the bottom lash line to create a winged shape
After the eyeshadow I used the Maybelline Hyper Glossy liquid liner to create winged eyes. Finally some mascara!
The look is very natural and nude with a light gold shine.
The palette isn’t very pigmented so its great for a natural look. But I did try going glam too which brings me to look two! For this I used just two colors.
1 – apply on entire eyelid and along lower lash line
2 – apply on outer corner and blend into crease line creating a smoky winged effect
Overall, I like the palette. Its not the most pigmented so if you want to create a dramatic look you would have to use a lot of the eyeshadow. But for its price and its beautiful colors I’d say its worth it. It’s also currently on sale at Nykaa so even better!
Did you liked the two looks? Have you used this product? Tell me in the comments!
